Remember that these games have been sitting around gathering ground for over 20 years. When inserted into your system metal connectors of the game have to touch the metal connectors in the system. If there is dirt Inbetween there is no connection. You need to remove any dirt from that game and then be implemented as it was in 1985.

Dip a Q-Tip in alcohol and rub wet metal contacts on the cartridge dirty. Then use the dry the Q-Tip and rub hard until you remove all dirt. You may have to do this several times and go through several points q until all dirt is removed. You want to repeat this step until the Q-tip is clean after cleaning. Now that your game is clean quickly we can clean your system through fair play. Simply take the game and put in the system and remove it. Now, fair play and repeat. Each time you go to take dirt from the system chip and transfer it to your game to be cleaned. After this, it should have problems. The system and games shopuld be working well.

This cleaning trick works for NES Nintendo games, but for Super Nintendo SNES, Nintendo 64, N64, Sega Genesis game cartridges and most other games based. Remove the screws on the bottom of the system.

Turn the system over and lift the plastic top.

Remove the screws holding the metal RF shield and remove the shield.

Remove the screws holding the black plastic cartridge holder. Note how the small plastic tab on the front of the holder slides below the motherboard. Slide the forward and remove (nothing happens if the motherboard bends slightly).

Lift the back of the motherboard and leave the number of contacts in the plastic housing black. (They stand a little, but just rock back and forth to slide them off.)

Dip a toothbrush (preferably not yours, the use of a loved one) in the cleaning solution and contact size.

Rinse with water and let dry.

Levante the back of the motherboard and slide the contacts in place.

Lift up the front of the motherboard and slide the cartridge holder in the contacts. Make sure the tab on the front of the holder clips below the motherboard.

Replace cartridge holder screws. (The long go in the second set of holes on the back.)

Connect the test system and cleaning cartridges. (It is perfectly safe to do so with the higher.)

If games are still not functioning properly, the contact system can be bent out of shape.

If the system is working properly, replace the cover (you can leave outside the RF shield if you like, I will not tell the FCC) and replace the screws on the bottom.
