Xbox Live?

I have a wireless internet and after I bought my gold subscription card I realized xbox doesn’t have wifi built in and that I would have to dish out another $100!! To play online.
So once I get this wireless adapter what do I do to set it up?

I would really recommend that you buy an Ethernet cable and connect that directly to your router instead of buying the Xbox 360 wireless receiver and connecting that wirelessly to your router. The Ethernet cable will be cheaper and more reliable. If you decide to buy the Xbox 360 wireless receiver despite my advice, chances are that you will have to buy a new router as well, one that was made for wireless gaming. If you connect to your router directly, your connection will be the best that it can be. If you connect to your router wirelessly, your connection will differ based on all of the things that can interfere with a wireless signal. For example, walls or other wireless devices can hinder your wireless signal.

And now to answer your question. As long as your wireless Internet is not locked, all you will have to do is hook the Xbox 360 wireless receiver up to your 360 and go through the few steps that you are walked through. If your wireless Internet is locked, then you will need to enter a code (I forget what the code is called). This code will enable you to connect to your wireless network. You can find the code either on the bottom of your router or on your computer.
